Amanda White Consulting (AWC) seeks a multi-faceted professional to manage capital campaign client projects and other AWC activities. AWC works with Madison's most dynamic nonprofit organizations. The Project Director will be a detail-oriented, highly organized professional with experience in non-profit fund development. Experience working with a capital campaign is a bonus. AWC is searching for an individual who embraces ongoing professional development, is collaborative, enjoys wearing multiple “professional hats,” and is interested in exploring modern, creative approaches to nonprofit success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Services, primarily capital campaign management (75%):

  • Support the lead consultant with daily functions of capital campaign consulting projects, ensuring both client and lead consultant are meeting deadlines and achieving deliverables

  • Manage client scheduling and coordination of time and resources for the consultant

  • Oversee and coordinate prospect list entry and prospect data management

  • Attend client meetings with the lead consultant

  • Conduct prospect research and compile prospect portfolios

  • Manage client cultivation (e.g., thank you notes, recognition, and appreciation efforts)

  • Coordinate small house parties and other campaign prospect gatherings

  • Write campaign documents such as email templates, event invites, etc.

Event Planning and Administrative Support (25%):

  • Support logistics for Amanda White Consulting workshops and education events

  • Support the planning of AWC small gatherings and events throughout the year

  • Attend client and AWC events

  • Assist the AWC team with daily administrative duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years experience in fund development work, experience with capital campaigns is a bonus

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Proven ability to be highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Experience in major gift prospect research is a bonus

  • Experience with Canva, Mailchimp, wealth assessment tools, or donor databases is a bonus

DETAILS:

AWC offers a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to work remotely within the Madison/Southern Wisconsin region. The position can be offered full or part-time, depending on the candidate's interest and availability. Compensation is based on experience, and a benefits package is included. Amanda White Consulting offers a fun, engaging, and respectful work culture. Limited evening and weekend work may be required.
